About the Show
Based on P.L. Travers’ beloved book series of the same name, Mary Poppins became an immediate hit when it premiered as a movie musical in 1964. Forty years later, Cameron Macintosh conceived of an enchanting stage musical that combines elements of Disney’s film with material inspired by Travers’ books. In the musical, Bert, a jack-of-all-trades, invites us into the world of London, England in 1910—and, specifically, into the dysfunctional home of the Banks family. Jane and Michael, the young Banks children, have sent yet another nanny packing, dismissing these children as hopelessly and irrevocably spoiled and misbehaved. With a father who works constantly and mother who is always distracted, Jane and Michael have suffered without strong caretaking forces in their lives. Then the magical Mary Poppins flies in on the wind, bringing with her a combination of whimsy, magic, and disciplined common sense to the children’s lives. Together, they go on memorable and magical adventures—and also learn the importance of a tidy nursery and of taking the medicine they need (with a spoonful of sugar, of course). Mary Poppins’ transformational influence does not stop with the children—eventually, she teaches the grown-ups, as well, to open up and realize that “anything can happen if you let it”.
This Broadway musical brings the same Broadway-quality, live performances you’ve come to expect from Christ Wesleyan Theatre Productions.

Online ticketing will be available until two hours prior to each performance. Tickets will also be available in the foyer before each performance unless sold out. Please arrive a little early so you don’t miss the beginning of the show.
Shows will not be canceled due to inclement weather. In most cases, refunds are not available.

What is the running time of the show?
The show is about 3 hours including an intermission.
What time should I arrive at the theatre?
The doors will open approximately 45 minutes before the show. You may want to arrive at least 30 minutes before the performance begins to allow time to get to purchase tickets and get to your seat.
Are your shows appropriate for children?
We consider all our productions family-friendly.
Can I take photographs or record the show?
Due to copyright agreement, videography & flash photography of this show are not permitted. You may take pictures in the foyer with the cast after the performances.
How can I meet the actors?
Guests can meet and greet the cast after each of the performances in the foyer and take pictures at that time.
How much are tickets?
Adults – $15.00 (plus processing fee)
Seniors (Ages 65+) – $12.00 (plus processing fee)
Children (Ages 0-12) – $10.00 (plus processing fee)
Where can I get tickets?
Tickets are available to purchase online, Well Read Bookstore during the week, or at The Hub on Sunday mornings, August 26, September 2, & 9 (cash or checks are accepted on campus). If you’d like to purchase tickets with a credit card, please place your order online.
All tickets are reserved seating, and you are able to choose your own seat location. The ticketing system will automatically choose recommended seats for you, but feel free to choose your own seat using the gray button “Let Me Choose My Seats” below the seating chart image.
At the end of your ordering process, you can choose how you want your ticket delivered to you with either print at home, or USPS mail.
Is there reserved seating?
Yes, all seating is reserved, and you can choose your actual seats online. Please note: at this time, online ticketing is currently unavailable on mobile devices unless you click “Standard Website” at the very bottom of the Brown Paper Tickets website.
Do you have group discounts?
We do our best to offer our shows at an affordable price for everyone. At this time, group discounts are not available.
If I cannot attend my show, can I get a refund or exchange?
In most cases, refunds are not available.
What should I do if I’ve misplaced my tickets?
Please contact the church office so we can reprint your tickets for you.
Tickets for children (ages 0-12) are $10.00. If you require a seat for your baby, it is important to have a ticket so they are guaranteed a seat.
At the first sign of distress, please remove crying babies and noisy children from the theatre. A live feed of the performance is available on a TV screen in the foyer where you can still see the show with your child.
Due to limited space in The Auditorium, we’re unable to accommodate strollers during the performance. Stroller parking is available in the foyer.
Not all seating is wheelchair accessible. The theatre offers seating specifically designed to accommodate patrons in wheelchairs or in mobile transports and their companions. Please contact the church office to request this type of seating. We’re also able to reserve a companion seat at the time of your order.
There are ample restroom facilities for wheelchair users, reserved parking spaces, and complete access to all other services. If you need assistance, please ask an usher or someone at the box office.
