Imagine a world where every girl owned at least one dress…that’s the mission statement of Dress a Girl Around the World!
Whether you do or don’t know how to sew, join us as Marie Eisenhower shows us how pillowcase dresses are made in third world countries. If you’d like to cut, iron, and assemble instead, you can participate too and if you have a sewing machine, bring it! We’re also looking for donations of materials such as ribbon, pillowcases, 1/4 inch elastic, ric-rac trim, cotton fabric, etc. Stop by The Hub on Sundays to sign up and/or drop off donated materials.
