We all encounter challenging times in our lives, but you don’t have to go through them alone. We have a number of ways you can receive support at CWC to help you grow, heal, and help others along the way.

Prayer

Requests are taken each Sunday or if you have an immediate need, send us a prayer request to allow us the privilege to pray for you.

Need prayer support? Our prayer team prays over your requests and it’s our privilege to pray for you. We love to hear how God has answered prayer! If you have a praise that God has answered a prayer and worked in incredible ways, share it with us. You can also join the email prayer team.
For emergencies after hours, call:
570.742.8994.

Send a Prayer Request

Our Prayer Chapel (entrance #4) is open 24 hours/365 days a year and is a quiet place to spend time with God in prayer. Share your prayer needs and praises in the Prayer Binder in the back of the room.

Care Requests

Your church family wants to support you as you celebrate milestones, mourn significant losses, and face life challenges. Here are some ways CWC can come alongside you during these meaningful times:

      • Hospital, Nursing Home, & Home-bound Visits

As a church body, we want to care for each other by visiting, offering prayer, and encouragement. Church staff and trained volunteers spend many hours each week visiting CWC family in the hospital, nursing home, rehabilitation centers, and in the home.

      • Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry exists to help people within our church family and community who are in need of providing food for their family. Please contact us if you have a need for supplemental food.

      • Funerals

There’s a lot to think about when it comes to planning services for someone you’ve lost. Supporting your grieving family is so important to us. Contact us to discuss how we can best help you.

      • Weddings

We care more about a biblical marriage than we do wedding ceremonies. That’s why we invest so much time and resources helping you start marriage well or heal your broken relationship. Marriage at Christ Wesleyan provides multiple classes and small group opportunities, premarital counseling, and on-campus wedding venues.
